Steven L. Cornwell, P.E.

Background

Steven Cornwell has been a Structural Engineer with Pinnacle Engineers, Inc. since December 1995.

Steve's recent school projects include the Valley View Birch Lane Elementary School and the 2-story cmu and steel design of the BSU Continuing Education Building. He has also been involved with the design of the 5-story Teton Village Pool & Spa Building in Teton Village, WY, the Department of Public Works Communication Center, and several large residential homes in Sun Valley.

Steve's past projects include precast design and shop drawing review on the 57,000-sq. ft. Swiss American Sausage Plant in Lathroy, CA. He has also been involved with the design and shop drawing review for the 1,500 bed addition to the Snake River Correctional Institute near Ontario, OR and the 1,200 bed prison in Boise, Idaho owned by Corrections Corporation of America. Steve has also designed masonry buildings, including the Moose Lodge in Ellensburg, WA and the McCarter-Moorehouse retail building in Nampa, ID and is currently responsible for multiple residential structures. Steve is experienced in the design of concrete, steel, and wood structures in conformance with several codes. Those codes include those of the Uniform Building Code, Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute, American Concrete Institute, American Institute of Steel Construction, and the National Design Specifications for Wood.
