![]() Meet the EngineersPatrick D. VanKleek, P.E., S.E. Background Pat VanKleek joined Pinnacle Engineers, Inc. in September 1994. He is responsible for the design of buildings, bridges, foundations, and retaining walls. Pat's recent school projects include the New Plymouth Middle School, the new Nyssa Elementary School, the Middleton High School gymnasium, and the 10 million dollar BSU Student Recreational Center. He also designed the precast concrete structures for the 1,500 bed addition to the Snake River Correctional Institute near Ontario, Oregon and the 1,200 bed prison in Boise, Idaho owned by Corrections Corporation of America. Most recently Pat engineered the new 135,000 sq. ft. concrete tilt-up manufacturing facility for Whiteman Industries, and a 120,000 sq. ft. office/ warehouse for Western Power Sports. Prior to 1994, he worked for Stapley Engineering in Boise as the structural engineer on Vallivue High School in Caldwell, Deschutes County Jail in Bend, OR, precast designer for the St. Lukes Hospital parking structure and stair towers as well as various other commercial and industrial structures. Prior to working for Stapley Engineering, he was General Manager/Plant Engineer at Monroc, Inc. for 3 1/2 years designing precast prestressed structures and components. Education
